Demurrage Tariff
(Florham Park, NJ)…In line with recent announcements by the Port of Long Beach (POLB) on September 1st, 2022, Hamburg Süd will update our demurrage tariff, effective November 7th, 2022, to align with their changes.
With this tariff update, weekend days will count for demurrage free time when POLB terminals open their gates for receiving/delivery.

Similarly, Hamburg Süd will also be adopting this free time change over the Port of Los Angeles to align with their standard operating hours where applicable on the weekends as well.
