Export
Find information about available sailings, demurrage and detention, local charges, export procedures and restrictions, container pick-ups and more.
All cargo should be declared to customs 48 hours before departure and before agency declaration (weekends included). All information should match, if not, cargo will not be allowed to depart.
An export declaration must be filed with customs, and this is done by the shipper/exporter themselves. (DUA).
Special customs requirements are the fulfillment of proper Dominican documentation before the vessel departs, if not cargo won’t be loaded as we must insert that info in our manifest. All special cargo must have proper information and certification (if applicable).
