(Florham Park, NJ)…Further to our Customer Advisory dated May 5, 2023, we wanted to update you on the status of your cargo onboard the "Maersk Eindhoven" voyage 317W, which had encountered mechanical issues at the Port of New York/New Jersey.
The vessel repairs are proceeding according to plan. The cargo remains safe. Our best estimates have the "Maersk Eindhoven" calling Norfolk no later than May 21 and Baltimore on May 25. While this is an evolving situation, we anticipate being able to share an ETA for your cargo early next week.
The Customer Experience Team has finalized plans for export bookings. Exports that were scheduled to load the "Maersk Eindhoven" are being shipped via the next available vessel to destination based upon available capacity. Cargo contingencies have been updated in our systems and are available for viewing on HamburgSud.com.
