Acting sustainably is of central importance to Hamburg Süd. Our goal is to decarbonise the world's supply chains to enable sustainable trade for a growing world. We would like to minimise the negative impact of our actions by aligning our business activities with the interests of the environment, our employees and our customers.
Hamburg Süd is part of Maersk, one of the global leaders in logistics. Because all assets are deployed via a shared equipment pool, Hamburg Süd and Maersk are jointly pursuing sustainability goals. This especially holds true regarding ecological issues, such as climate protection. Our actions are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals as set up by the United Nations
